Hometown: Guildford, New South Wales, Australia by way of The Abysaal Lodge.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Disposition/Alignment: Crazy heel.
Gimmick: Ricky Ashbrook was a young, scrappy competitor on the Australian independent scene. While he was generally unremarkable on all fronts that would have him stand out as a pure competitor, it was his undying, underdog charisma that made him valued among small crowds. He was just chasing a dream and had to fight like a dog to get closer to that dream. The only way he could truly stand out among the rest was to compete in deathmatches; rather neesh market in Australian wrestling. It made him more of an attraction, it garnered more fan support as he was still working towards being a talent that can make it. He threw all of himself into everything he did, gained scars on his body that'll stain his skin forever and be otherwise jeopardous to his long-term health. But he was happy, he had fan support, he was getting bookings, he wasn't breaking any glass ceilings but that train was going strong.

It only took one, bad injury to derail all of that.

A fractured skull, caused by one blown table spot. His vision went black, he was rushed to the hospital. When he awoke, he didn't recognize himself anymore. His face felt foreign to him, his name felt foreign to him. Something about his psyche split in two. The Ricky Ashbrook that was the scrappy go-getter and fan embodiment into the sport vanished from the public eye. What returned to the ring many months later was a man reborn -- a fractured man; Jason Kovacs (later Australianised to Jayce Kovacs.) The part of Ashbrook that lamented his status, threw himself into everything, took pleasure in dishing out pain and receiving it manifested its own persona. A screaming madman, one who laughs at his own pain, steals things from people to provoke them and just overall being an agent of utter chaos. He will go to any length to hurt his opponent, even if it means hurting himself.

He now wears a haunting mask, his new face, to make sure Ricky Ashbrook is forever dead.

Otherwise just a reckless being that would show up, he wasn't really given any purpose with this new name and face until he was approached by The Order. They would enable his behavior, but guide it towards a cause that would benefit them all. How was he going to refuse that?

RINGSIDE INFORMATION
Theme Music: "Firestarter" by The Prodigy

Entrance:
The dark, electronic melody of "Firestarter" by The Prodigy starts to play, slow panning red lights cover the arena before they get frantic as the song picks up. From the furthest corners of the crowd, a leather jacket clad Jayce Kovacs emerges with his hair covering his mask as he has his head down low, not interacting with the crowd in any way. He comes to through brandishing a [ Turnbuckle connector / railroad spike / thumbtack bag / switchblade ] in his clenched fist, threatening a fan with it should they dare try to touch him. He's always rolling his shoulders or his neck, acting like a dog on a leash as he is lead to the ring by an invisible master. He truly comes off the leash when he slides into the ring, frantically thrashing around, running the ropes, hitting turnbuckles, chasing out the referee or ring announcer, if he doesn't just lunge at the opponent at the very start. He becomes a ball of unhinged energy between the ropes, no longer contained -- given free rein to rip, mangle and maim.

MOTIVATIONS
This was Ricky Ashbrooks dream. It just lives through Jayce Kovacs now, and he wants to be the moth that's not afraid of the flame -- and be the flame the moths come towards.
